Geropotamos
Geropotamos beach is below the bridge of Geropotamos, at the national road to Heraklion. The route is approximately 15 minutes.
The name of the beach derives from the river Geropotamos that leads to this beach. It is a relatively small but picturesque beach and it is a combination of sand and pebbles. It’s a deep sea and has no lifeguards so be careful especially if you are not a good swimmer although there are not strong currents.
The beach has sunbeds and umbrellas which you can rent and a small family restaurant with fresh products. The crystal clear waters will surely impress you.
