At a distance of 15 km is the village of Panormos. Panormo is 20 minutes away and the main road to go is the national road Rethymnon-Heraklion. The Panormos beach is of fine brown sand and into the village on the west side.

The beach is well organized and quite popular. The beach has sunbeds and umbrellas for rent while in the village you will find several good restaurants to eat. It is also possible to make some water sports.
